Hey you! Help me!

I've been noticing that a lot of posts on Eloquent Sticks & Stones have been getting a high volume of daily view but almost no one has been commenting...which says to me that readers and visitors must be interested enough to read my content but not interested enough to comment. Which has driven me to simply reaching out to YOU and ask if you've been here before why didn't you comment or if this is your first time would have you commented without this prompt? I work really had on the content and DIY's and it would be fun to get a little more feed back or even constructive criticism. Really, I have been wondering if there is a major reason I haven't been getting feed back on my posts or if something I am doing is off putting to other bloggers/blog readers. One thing I will say is that I am going to be really diligent in responding back to comments left here because in the past couple months I've really slacked.  So please in lighten me but don't be too harsh. 

p.s. I am not trying to come off as pathetic it's just I am really just interested in the reasons why an increase in page  views hasn't been causing ANY increase in commenting. I am just curious and not trying to beg for comments, as I would still update this blog even if I no one commented. EVER.
